Plain-language terms for using Raul. They cover what the product is, what it is not, how subscriptions work, and what happens to your account.
Who runs Raul
Raul is provided by Shubham Dogra EI (SIRET 109 126 631 00018), 21 Boulevard Berd de St Julien, 92190 Meudon, France. Contact: support@askraul.app.
Who Raul is for
Raul is a fitness and wellness product for adults. It is designed to help users log behaviour, track patterns, and receive general coaching prompts.
Not medical advice
Raul is not a doctor, not a medical device, and not a substitute for a qualified clinician. Do not use Raul for emergencies, diagnosis, treatment decisions, or urgent symptoms.
AI-generated coaching
Raul is an AI coach. Its replies, summaries, plans and nutrition estimates are generated by an AI model provided by Anthropic, not written by a person. They can be wrong or incomplete, especially estimates read from photos, so check anything that matters to you.
Changes to the service
Raul is actively developed. Features may change, insights may be incomplete, and uptime is not guaranteed. You use the product with that understanding.
Subscriptions and billing
Raul is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly. In the iOS app you subscribe through Apple's App Store, and Apple's terms, billing and refund policies apply; manage or cancel it in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On the web you subscribe through Stripe; manage or cancel it from Profile → Manage subscription. New subscribers may get a free trial; if you do not cancel before it ends, the first charge happens when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Web payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately, but not an App Store subscription, which you must cancel with Apple.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU and subscribe on the web, you may withdraw within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason. A free trial covers those 14 days, so cancelling before it ends costs nothing. If you subscribe without a trial, you ask for the service to start straight away; if you then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay only for the days before you withdrew, and the rest is refunded. To withdraw, cancel from Profile → Manage subscription and email support@askraul.app, or send any clear statement to that address. Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are refunded by Apple under its own policy: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you choose to log. Do not share an account with someone else.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, try to break it, abuse providers behind it, scrape other users’ data, or use Raul for unlawful or harmful activity.
Your content and feedback
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give Raul the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content so the service can work. Feedback may be used to improve the product.
Suspension or termination
Raul may suspend or terminate access if the service is abused, if running the service becomes unsafe, or if Shubham Dogra EI decides to shut the service down.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile. Your data is kept for 30 days in case you want to come back, and signing in again with the same account during that time restores it. After 30 days it is permanently erased. Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately, but not an App Store subscription.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Raul is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, contact support@askraul.app first and we will try to resolve it. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live.
